The Bundaberg-based business was launched in 2021 as DownForce Drilling Management and was rebranded in 2022 as Torque Drilling Management. The company was founded by Justin Connellan, a highly experienced and professional drilling operator, project manager and trainer.
Justin started in the industry in 2005, and has worked with Hodge Drilling and family business Down Force Drilling Operations on sites including assets run by Peabody Energy, YanCoal, Glencore and projects with HDR Salva. Recent work includes mine expansion projects for Ensham Resources and Sojitz Blue.
He has cross-sector resources experience including coal seam gas exploration, open-cut and underground coal mining and minerals exploration.
